On Wednesday, April 12th, a team from our club participated in a packing day at Food4Kids Niagara, a local organization that works in conjunction with the Niagara Catholic District School Board and District School Board of Niagara to identify children in their schools who have severe food insecurity.
Currently 500 healthy food packages are distributed each week to children in need in 22 schools throughout Niagara, but it is estimated that there are many more children in need.
